Abstrak

Penelitian ini mengkaji tanggung jawab etis-teologis jemaat di Gereja Kristen Jawa Tengah Utara (GKJTU) yang tidak memiliki pamulang, yaitu pendeta atau guru injil yang memegang jabatan khusus dalam gereja bersama penatua dan diaken. Fokus penelitian ini adalah tiga jemaat GKJTU, yaitu Gedong, Tayeman, dan Talitakum Sleker di wilayah Getasan, Klasis Kopeng. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan naratif-deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiadaan pamulang mendorong jemaat, penatua, dan diaken untuk mengambil peran yang lebih besar dalam pelayanan gereja. Jemaat dipahami sebagai agen moral yang aktif, responsif, dan bertanggung jawab dalam mengaktualisasikan visi gereja. Temuan penting menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan di GKJTU tanpa pamulang berlangsung dalam tahap liminalitas yang ditopang oleh kolaborasi dialogis antara jemaat dan majelis. Kesimpulannya, tanggung jawab etis kristiani dalam konteks GKJTU tanpa pamulang terwujud melalui rasa memiliki (sense of belonging) dan keterlibatan kolektif jemaat dalam pelayanan.
