Kognisio: Journal of Christian Theology is a scholarly journal that focuses on in-depth studies of Christian theology, emphasizing critical and reflective understanding of faith, teachings, and spiritual practices within the Christian tradition.

The term "Kognisio" is derived from the Latin word cognitio, which means knowledge or understanding, and has been adopted into Indonesian to reflect the journal's purpose: to provide a space for academic exploration that enriches knowledge about God, the Bible, and other theological dimensions.

This journal aims to strengthen intellectual and spiritual dialogue among scholars, practitioners, and the Christian community by presenting articles based on research, theological reflection, and profound spiritual insights.
